Bitchy Jennai Manhunt are one of the best hardcore bands around right now in my opinion. Alix is almost unrivalled in her vocals by anyone in this genre. Pairs really well with Internal Rot who I hadn't heard before now, but I love how dark and deep it sounds as a contrast to the Manhunt stuff. Favorite track: Entitled.

MANHUNT

From Brisbane in 'The Smart State' of Queensland. Manhunt play powerviolence with equal parts influence owing to punk, hardcore, grind and metal, with a level of ferocity and misanthropy matched by few, if any bands across Australia. Their 'Human Detritus' 7" was one of the stand-out releases of 2013, and this is even better.
